Easter Weekend

The Easter Bunny visited this year and left footprints that led to a basket for each kid and a note! Alex practiced his first grade reading skills and told us that for the first time ever the Easter Bunny hid the eggs outside!!! Hmmm.. What were you doing at 6:30 am on Easter Sunday? We were outside in 32 degree snowy weather, searching for eggs...





Katie had no problem searching for eggs, we had practiced on Saturday but she seemed to understand what she was supposed to do and had no problems running around and defending an egg when she wanted it and her brothers thought they'd beat her to it...

I dug out the short sleeves shirts this weekend too, hoping that maybe this snow will stop falling and the weather will continue to get warmer. We've had a few sunny days in the 40s, but can't wait for the trees to start budding and to see green instead of white!
