It's been 5 weeks since we left Russia. We received an e-mail this week that our dossier was filed to Khabarovsk court on Jan 11th. (2 week holiday delayed it)
We were advised that the judge has been requesting "surprise" documents. So we may get a request for more paperwork before she'll give us the court date.
Let's cross our fingers she likes us :)
Okay if you remember our first torture, um, court, experience with they boys you are laughing at that last statement!
We should have another update from Russia in a week or so...
PS the temperature in Alaska finally broke, it's now in the balmy 40s! School actually closed yesterday (first time in 6 years) because of very icy/impassable roads. I'm noticing a trend that when it's cold in Alaska, it's warmer in Khabarovsk and the opposite. Check out the weather links on the right hand column.
