All 3 kids slept through the entire night!!! The first since we've been home. Of course, I finally got smart and put Katie in the same room as the boys. (Yes I know I should have done that the first day, I wasn't thinking clearly) Even though she was right next door, I think that's why she kept getting up since she was alone. We put her mattress on the floor of the boys' room and she slept all night... Yeah!!!
She's eating well, she has become Americanized though. She thinks if she says no to the food she is given, the great food god (fridge) will give her more.. Not happening little girl, even though you need to grow, you need to eat the food in front of you...
Socially she is doing great. She is not shy. Loves to go out and see people. we went through a clothing store and she just rode in her cart and said Hello to the people and kept touching all the clothes.
we need to work on her voccabulary and using her words more to communicate. She has most of the family's names down and a few other key phrases, but I'm going to slowly start working on getting her to talk more with words...

Meeting Olga
We drove into Anchorage today to see Poppa at work and all his work friends and then went onto Olga's house. She's the coordinator of our agency and a truly wonderful lady. Katie did great with the ride, slept both in and out of town. It was a nice sunny day too, temp has been reaching into the 40s and the snow is slowly starting to melt..... (slowly)We had our doctor's appointment on Monday and Katie is at 1% for height and 3% for weight. Very small, but happy and seemingly healthy, 2.5 years old. We're going to wait and see if any of her Russian medical issues come back before we initiate any other test... We're hoping that the healthy diet of vegetables and vitamins keep everything else at bay..

Friday Update
We're still transitioning on the time zone change. The boys didn't get to sleep until 1 am. Katie went to sleep at 8 but woke back up when the boys made some noise at 12 am. Finally got her back to sleep by 3 am. After we had some midnight yogurt...(She loves to eat). Woke everyone up at 9:30 this morning. Hopefully we'll have the weekend to gradually transition back to Alaska time. Hoping to take the boys to school for a bit today and get Katie a haircut, but it's one thing at a time :)

Sleeping on the Floor of the plane... Seems to be what all my kids do...
Playing in Paris Airport... Bummer, didn't see anything flying into the airport or out... Other than traffic jams.

Anchorage... Finally Home, went willingly to Nana, because all Mama did was take her on more planes and she was definately tired of that after 31 hours!

Home
We are home! And very happy to be... Katie is adjusting well, making wide circles around the dogs but seems happy. She slept all night and the boys are still sleeping... We were all exhausted...
